Caesar assassination

On the Ides of March (March 15, 44 BC) during a meeting of the Senate at the Theatre of Pompey in Rome, Julius Caesar was assassinated. This bloody event (he was stabbed no less than 23 times!) inspired many artists, giving us striking paintings. For this project I really wanted to create a texture that tells a story and has a narrative woven into it. It had to be aesthetically pleasing too, so I choosed to stick to a white marble that would contrast nicely with the blood.
